Long-Term Care Insurance
There’s no greater gift than that of a long and healthy life — lived well and independently. There’s much to celebrate as Americans are now living longer, healthier lives than ever before. And with the rapid pace of medical and healthcare advances, older Americans have plenty of reasons to be
optimistic about the rest of their lives! Without Long-Term Care Insurance, the cost of providing these services can quickly deplete individual and family savings. It’s impossible to predict what kind of care you or your spouse might need in the future, or know exactly what the costs will be. But like other insurance, Long-Term Care Insurance allows people to pay a known, affordable premium for a policy to protect against the risk of much larger out-ofpocket expenses.
GEBA’s Long-Term Care Insurance was developed to provide you with flexible coverage that will meet your specific financial needs — with savings built in just tailored, individual policy with personal, confidential and FREE advice from GEBA’s Long-Term Care Specialists. When you enroll, you automatically receive up to a 10% discount off of your premium as a GEBA member.

Because the plans are individually written according to members' needs, your premium will depend upon certain factors determined by those specific needs.

For more information, call GEBA at (301) 688-7912 or (800) 826-1126 to speak with a Member Service Representative.

The factors listed below will affect your premium:

  • Age at the time of enrollment
  • Daily Benefit ($50 - $500)
  • Elimination Period (30, 60, 90, 180 or 365 days)
  • Benefit Period (2,3,4,5,6, 10 years or lifetime)
  • Inflation Factor (CPI, 5% simple, 3% compound)
  • Home Health Care Benefit (100% of nursing home benefit)
