Emergency Travel Plan

Trust GEBA - For Your Affordable Solution In Case Of Family Emergencies

GEBA’s Emergency Travel Plan was created specifically for GEBA members. When you least expect it, a family emergency can strike. You receive a call telling you a loved one has been in a serious accident, is gravely ill, or has passed away. Your only thought at this moment should be getting to your family as quickly as you can, not the high cost of a last-minute plane ticket.

Coverage Highlights: This coverage reimburses up to 80% (up to $1,500 per person) of round-trip coach air or train fare to respond to the serious illness, death, or injury of an immediate family member.

Choose GEBA and join more than 16,000 satisfied members of the intelligence community, broader federal workforce, the military, and their family members. Membership in GEBA is free – and includes more choices and savings – as long as you maintain coverage.

Coverage costs as little as $78 per person per year— or $3 a paycheck.*

Last Minute Travel Is Expensive!

This coverage is ideal for those on PCS or who live far from family and might need to return home quickly in an emergency.

Ideal for adult children or aging parents who are on a fixed income or limited means to travel if there was a family emergency.

Of course, fares will vary, but here’s an example of how much you could save with GEBA's Emergency Travel Plan:

Cost of Last-Minute Airfare   $900
ETP Reimbursement (80%)  $720
Net Out-of-Pocket Cost  $180
