We're expanding our personnel to meet the growing needs of our members and federal employees for our GEBA Wealth Management Services. GEBA is seeking a Member Services Representative that will work with our dedicated team. This individual is instrumental in helping to deepen our relationships with existing members and their families in addition to helping grow our membership by providing personalized service to all federal employees. A message from GEBA CEO, Michele Rackey: "When I joined GEBA as Executive Director in June of 2004, I never thought the time would come to retire. But, after 16 years, I am planning to join my husband in retirement at the end of 2020. Professional Liability

Professional Liability Insurance (PLI) is a must for any federal employee, especially for managers or supervisors, law enforcement, and border patrols.  It's an inexpensive way to protect your personal assets. PLI provides legal representation and indemnity from the risks and financial consequences of  a claim or allegation made against you in the performance of your federal duties.

Fall Shred-it Event

GEBA is proud to announce its Fall Shred It Event on Saturday, October 10, 2020, 8 am - 12 pm, at the Park-N-Ride (PNR) - Long Gate Parkway in Elliott City, MD. The event requires members to sign up for a time slot.

Up to $500,000 Life Insurance - no physical

Our carrier, New York Life has suspended in-person medical exams and/or labs through December 31, 2020 for applicants under age 50 and applying for amounts up to $500,000. Your application may instead be processed through expedited underwriting using available medical records, written or tele-interview medical questions, and database information.

Vision Plan Update 

GEBA made administrative updates to our NVA Vision Plan effective September 2020. If you have a GEBA Vision Plan, these updates do not affect your coverage or your plan features. With these changes, plan participants will receive a replacement ID card in the mail from NVA that will include a new sponsor ID. If you have previously created an account at e-nva.com, you can log in and download/print a new ID card using the same credentials. To search for a provider on the NVA website, select GEBA from the list of Groups/Sponsors.

The deadline to request a paper ballot has passed.  However, you can still request an email ballot by submitting your request to kim@geba.com by Monday, September 21, 2020, 5 pm.  The election closes on Friday, September 25, 11:59 pm.
